HOW TO BE HAPPY WHEN YOU ARE SAD

Sadness comes from time to time.Sometimes it last for a while ,sometimes it lasts for a year or more.
Sadness strikes when something unusual happens.Like a death in the family,getting fired,failed exams,a shocking news from the doctor of a dreaded disease like cancer and so on. But sometimes sadness comes for no reason at all.You just feel that your world is gloomy.




How to be happy when sadness strikes?



DON'T DWELL ON WHAT MAKES YOU SAD


Constantly thinking of things that makes you sad are like viewing lonely movies again and again.
Dwelling on what your doctor said that " you are about to die of your disease" won't make you any good at all!
Instead of thinking negative things again and again why not change the channel of your thoughts to " HAPPY" channel.
Think on what makes you happy.Think of good memories.Think of positive things.Think of opportunities.Think of beautiful moments.
Then you will soon feel the amazing change from sad to happy.
Don't dwell on what makes you sad.

DO SOMETHING

Do something...good! like watering the plants,gardening,volunteering,cleaning the house,go to church,attend a group fellowship etc...,do something that will make you busy and keeps you moving.In this case your mind will be focused not on what is gloomy and lonely.The moment you do something,your mind will put aside mr.sadness.
Start doing something!

TALK TO SOMEONE

Talk to somebody either your neighbor ,friends,relatives! Just talk to someone.If nobody is with you,call a friend.Talk over the phone.

Do some bodily exercise
Take a walk
Dance
In this case your body will release happy hormones we call endorphines
Exercise! Don't just sit there hugging MR.SADNESS.

No matter how many books you have read on " becoming happy", no matter how many advises you've heard from people,no matter how many encouragements you have received... unless you decide to be happy , Mr.sadness will never leave you.Choose to be happy! Choose to stay positive!

You were kicked out from your job??? what now?
Do you want to be gloomy,sad,depressed all your life?

Prayer is the best remedy for sadness.Prayer is talking to a greater being than us.It helps you



release your burdens and makes you feel relax.
People who prays a lot tends to be contented and optimistic.
